Ryan has over 4 years of experience serving as the President of Retorra, LLC which he founded. His industry expertise is the result of an impressive career in textiles that is, itself, a tapestry of successful collaboration with local and international customers, architects, interior designers, suppliers, manufacturers, craftsmen and marketers.
As a business owner, Ryan has also learned the art of selecting and managing outside professionals such as accountants and lawyers. Additionally, he performs his company’s functions related to human resources, including the recruitment, retention, training, development and management of employees. Ryan leads the corporate development function as well. He negotiates and nurtures strategic alliances and aligns interests through a variety of means, including commercial agreements and equity participation arrangements. Ryan exhibits pragmatism, creativity, adaptability and innovation in all his endeavors, including business development, product design, operational excellence, team building and leadership. He enjoys participating in business transforming and creating new tools and methods that empower his customers and other collaborators to create bespoke and commercially viable solutions that best meet their needs and satisfy their artistic expression.
Ryan is based in Philadelphia and has lived in Houston and New York. He cultivates and calls upon a worldwide network of friends, acquaintances and connections in numerous industries to generate growth and create value for his company’s investors and other stakeholders.
