David has over 25 years of experience serving both as a consultant and employee in finance and accounting roles. His in-depth analyses of financial and operational data have been used by a diverse and impressive group of companies in the power, waste, oil and gas, telecommunications and internet-of-things (IOT) home automation industries to support marketing, procurement, tax compliance and internal reporting purposes.
In 2012, David founded his firm, dh Professional Services, LLC and oversees its business development efforts and all aspects of its day-to-day operations. He approaches problems from the perspective of business owner and draws on his significant experience in the coordination and processing of month end close, staff management, financial statement compilation, audit support, information systems guidance, and assisting with external public accounting firms for both SEC and federal tax reporting support. David naturally embraces technology, and he commonly interfaces with information technology personnel on cross-functional collaborative efforts. He understands and works well with most of the ERP systems widely in use, and he is a power user of Microsoft, Excel‚ and Access.
