AerMill is proud to spotlight the exciting next chapter for Olympic Gold Medalist and accomplished coach Brandon Slay. After more than eight years of leadership as Executive Director and Head Coach of the Pennsylvania Regional Training Center (PRTC), Brandon is transitioning to a new role in Springdale, Arkansas, where he will serve as Executive Director of SportsLife Wrestling and Head Coach of the newly established G1 Training Center.
During his tenure at the PRTC, Brandon guided the organization to national recognition as a top-tier Olympic training center. Under his leadership, the PRTC produced numerous U.S. National Team members, U.S. Open champions, and World medalists. Beyond athletic achievements, Brandon shaped a program culture that emphasized values such as faith over fear, full effort, service to others, and personal integrity–principles that will continue to influence the PRTC for years to come.
The move to Arkansas marks an opportunity for Brandon to focus on leadership development and mentoring the next generation of athletes. SportsLife Wrestling, a Christian-based leadership development organization, will work in tandem with the G1 Training Center to foster excellence both on and off the mat. The new facility will provide training for youth, elite high school, and senior-level wrestlers, with an emphasis on holistic development through sport.
“I’ve been blessed to spend nearly a decade building something meaningful in Philadelphia, surrounded by athletes and coaches committed to growth both in wrestling and in life,” Brandon shared. “As I take this next step, I’m excited to pour everything I’ve learned into developing young leaders and champions who prioritize faith, service, and excellence.”
Brandon’s legacy at the PRTC extends beyond medals and championships. His mentorship has played a pivotal role in the personal and professional growth of countless athletes, creating a lasting impact that will continue as he moves onto the PRTC Board of Directors.
“We’re grateful for Brandon’s leadership, which elevated the PRTC and instilled values that will carry forward,” said PRTC President Nick Matteo.
