Brandon Slay

He personally oversees all recruitment and fundraising activities. Brandon reports to his board of directors and actively seeks guidance from a remarkable chorus of insightful and trustworthy voices. He negotiates licenses to use facilities, manages payroll and reviews financial statements. Brandon sets the schedule for each season and leads his teams to tournaments. He embraces the fundraising aspect of his business as its lifeblood. In many ways, he mentors and develops everyone around him, insisting upon integrity in all matters. 

Brandon enjoys his remarkable career in wrestling, first as a wrestler, and then as coach. Having navigated many transitional periods in his own life, he enjoys helping others to do the same. This is, in part, because he is naturally drawn to the areas of his own life and the lives of others that tend to present the greatest challenges. It is also, in part, because he loves to learn about people and organizations, particularly as they navigate their own transitional periods. Brandon has and does accept numerous engagements as a public speaker. Unsurprisingly, most of his speeches tend to be motivational and inspirational in topic and tone. As a Business Executive, Brandon enjoys getting to match people around him with objectives and responsibilities that are consistent with the growth and development of each individual and the Pennsylvania Regional Training Center, as a whole. Brandon grew up in Texas, is based in Philadelphia and leverages a rich network of friends and acquaintances across the United States to face the challenges before the Pennsylvania Regional Training Center and its wrestlers – past, present, and future.
